Not On Your Nellie won on faster going at Beverley last time when Burtonwood and Hawk In The Sky filled the places. The latter has won in heavy before and may well reverse running today but both Twelve Diamonds and Tilsworth Rose are others with something to prove on the prevailing ground having earlier won at Bath and Lingfield respectively. MECCA’S HOT STEPS has been competing in novice company recently but had gone close in a couple of handicaps before that including in the soft at Hamilton. Michael Dods’ filly can take this off her current mark.
