Verdict

Incus, progressive last term and with conditions to suit, has to give weight all round on this first start since wind surgery but has to be of interest with the champion jockey booked. Methag came good at Doncaster and has subsequently performed creditably over timber so is clearly in good nick and well respected. Helioblu Bareliere steps up notably in trip and is interesting with Gabriele Malune claiming a valuable 5lb but BURN SOME DUST has only had seven starts to date and rates a gelding on the upgrade. He revealed a good attitude to outpoint Bill Cody at Newcastle when last seen, the form of which was nicely franked when the runner-up scored at Redcar on Saturday. The Ellison charge should have more to offer off a mark of just 66. Affair has place claims off the bottom perch.
