Ginger Pickle won well last time out when beating Whispering Desert but that was on heavy ground and he looks vulnerable on this surface. Kaldoun Kingdom was a fair fourth behind The Name Is Frank in a fair maiden last time and is another with place claims but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Barbarossa would have a chance on his best form but disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so cannot be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Mistress Cooper hails from a shrewd yard and enters handicaps off a handy mark so should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Brixworth Scribe.
