        Verdict

        Most of these have been around the block a few times, none more than the 12-year-old Hallstatt. But John Mackie’s top weight is a three-times course winner who was only beaten a length-and-a-half over track and trip on his penultimate start. Strictly Art was beaten under a length over this trip at Yarmouth last month and Spiritoftomintou has been placed in three of his five starts since the turn of the year. STYNES (NAP) won by five lengths when last in action on the Flat in 2016. He proved his well-being by beating a decent field over fences at Cartmel last month and looks the pick of the weights. Cool Music may prove the best of those at bigger prices.
