He is hard to get right but DANDY MAN gets the nod in a cracking contest for a Tuesday night at Nottingham. Wi Dud and Biniou have the capabilities to be heavily involved in the shake-up, while Angus Newz and Masta Plasta are expected to scrap it out as the best of the rest. Of the others: Turbo Shandy needs more experience, while Pawan needs a better jockey. Of the leading contenders: Biniou will have to work hard if he is going to uphold the form of his Thirsk encounter with Wi Dud from a couple of months ago. Still, he ran a blinder in the Stewards Cup last week and, as Jamie Spencer knows him well; a big effort can be anticipated. In turn, Wi Dud lacks consistency and, judging by the King's Stand (Royal Ascot) form; he has two lengths to find with Dandy Man. Therefore, this appears to be a good opportunity for Dandy Man to get off the mark for Godolphin. That's the theory done anyway!
