MAOI CHINN TIRE is nicely weighted for as race of this nature and is worth a speculative investment today. Gillburg is going the right way and can win a race before too long. He is a big threat today, while Lucky Rave and On The Bounty also merit consideration from those near the top of the weights. Lucky Rave, being the top weight in a nursery, will get the lazy-boy vote today. This does look harder than his maiden success at Wolverhampton, though. Rosedale won a similar race at Leicester 20 days ago (On The Bounty was less than two lengths away in third) and is another improving individual. She is only 4lb higher today and has been given a chance by the assessor. However, Maoi Chinn Tire has started to get the hang of things of late and, at the likely odds and given the way the form of his penultimate start is working out; the Stan Moore-trained colt shouldn't be underestimated in this wide-open contest.
