This is anybody’s race but Recordman won over today’s trip in between placed efforts over 1m4f while Lunar Jet finished just in front SHABBAH when runner-up at Chester recently. But the latter has tumbled down the weights since leaving Sir Michael Stoute’s yard at the start of the year and looks set to go close for current connections now back on a winning mark. El Ghazwan made a winning start in handicaps at Lingfield with Tiffin Top back in third and is preferred to Ripon winner Doctor Cross while Makambe went close at Kempton last time and Michele Strogoff finished third over track and trip. Radio Source and Imaginative have plenty of scope and are not out of this either representing powerful set-ups.
