Verdict

ALLURING STAR bids for a hat-trick having completed a double over 7f at Catterick and Musselburgh. A winner over today's longer trip last season, Mick Easterby's mare is worth sticking with in her current mood. A 3lb rise proved beyond Secret Success when he attempted to follow up an earlier win at Kempton while Sam Spade has done his winning on the all-weather so far and is upped 4lb for his recent victory at Southwell. George Benjamin has a shout on his latest third at Warwick and is preferred to Indus Valley and Polar Forest.
