Sir Graham Wade developed into a smart performer over middle-distances and further last season, winning six times. He ended the campaign with victory in a Listed race in Nantes but only a nose separated Mark Johnston's grey and CAVALEIRO over this trip at Ascot in October and Marcus Tregoning's four-year-old is 3lb better off here. He began last season with a third in the Derby Trial at Lingfield so goes well fresh and can land this. The Bull Hayes is the only one of these to have seen recent action on the Flat but simply doesn't look good enough while Handazan has been struggling for an extra gear over hurdles. The mare Testosterone could be interesting, however, as she won a Group 3 at Saint-Cloud in 2011 and was highly tried last year.
