        Verdict

        Fortinbrass is the only one of these to have won a race so far this year but that was at Southwell and he hasn’t scored on Turf since 2013. Monsieur Jimmy was behind the latter at Southwell and has yet to win on this surface while Krazy Paving has yet to land a handicap, though went close on the all-weather earlier this year. MINTY JONES won at Beverley last season and a recent second at Ayr suggests Michael Mullineaux’s charge is running into form. He gets a speculative vote given Cadland Lad looks no nearer winning despite a string of placed efforts.
