In depth

Verdict

A couple of these bid for hat-tricks and debut on Turf. Morlaix has been winning in this grade but VANITY AFFAIR recorded a double in Class 4 company last month and Charlie Fellowes’ charge can go in again in this lesser company. Leroy Leroy went close at Windsor having earlier scored at Doncaster while Sir Charles Punch was beaten less than a length over a longer trip at Thirsk when ahead of Army Of One. Regular Income placed over track and trip in November while First Charge is unexposed and will appreciate any cut in the ground.
