In depth

Verdict

West With The Wind, Amerigo and Ejeed are three against the field in this maiden and the narrow vote is given to West With The Wind. The selection finished in mid-division behind Speedy Dollar last time out, that form looks solid and with the step up in trip also likely to bring about improvement he looks the one to be on. Amerigo rates the main danger as he is well bred being by Daylami but the fact that he is already a gelding is off-putting. Ejeed is a colt by Rahy and his stable are doing well with it's two-year-olds so he should watched in the market. Clovis has shown promise in two runs to date and is another with place claims but he will be handicapped after this run and that is where his future may lie. Of the others Amanjena showed promise on his debut and is sure to improve but for the winner we return to West With The Wind.
