The yard of Clive Cox has made a pleasing start to the season and Beauty Night should have more to offer after scoring at Lingfield on handicap bow. There should be more to come with similar comments applicable to Aldair, whilst Claymore makes his own handicap debut here after showing gradually progressive juvenile form for a yard which never rushes inmates. Perhaps the most interesting handicap debutant is Sir Michael Stoute's Third Rock, the stable already having won this term with a very similar type. He must be carefully monitored in the mark but we'll take a punt on the once-raced CAJOLED (NAP) who landed a Kempton maiden in the style of a horse open to any amount of improvement for first-season trainer George Scott. He was seemingly unfancied that day but overcame a tardy stalls exit to score in the end with something to spare.
