Verdict

Always a competitive contest, this year's renewal is well up to Listed standard with a pleasing mixture of three-year-olds taking on their elders. Great Page makes considerable appeal from the three-year-old brigade as a Listed juvenile winner and also runner-up in the Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot in Group company. She now reverts to 6f and should go well but DIVINE is a chance worth taking. She's fit from a three-race adventure to Meydan and, if able to repeat the level of her excellent second to Ertijaal and fourth to Jungle Cat in Dubai, the Channon mare should give a very decent account. Alqubbah is on the upgrade whilst both Marsha and Swiss Affair are unexposed and interesting along with the Varian pair Imtiyaaz and Queen's Pearl.
