Verdict

Big Boom improved for the fitting of blinkers last time and must be considered along with 14-race maiden Residency, who has conditions to suit and form off slightly higher marks to call upon. Kensington ran well over this trip last time when just collared late on and has to be considered along with fellow front-runner Bermondsey Bob but they may just set this up for LAKE CHINI. Mick Easterby's runner did well to win at Newcastle when suited by soft ground and he's performed very well at this track in the past, especially when given a strong pace to aim at. Belinsky is a course-and-distance winner who is well treated on that spring success so must deserve respect along with Micky Mac who has rather gone off the boil but as such arrives with a likeable handicap rating, while Eye For The Girls should prove best on soft ground around this trip.
