Verdict
Disappointingly just the six runners line up for this valuable contest and with neither First Order nor Wannarock making any appeal, only four of the sextet can be given any serious chance and it is LITTLE WHITE LIE that gets the vote. The son of Orpen has shown improved form since joining John Jenkins, is a confirmed performer on testing ground and he is taken to gain his third success of the campaign today. Godolphin's Igor Protti has claims on the pick of his form for his in-form stable but his best form is all on a faster surface so he may be best watched. Bryan Smart's Easy Target should handle the testing ground but has yet to confirm that he does so, while Paul Cole's General Eliott is arguably better on faster ground so is another that may be best watched today. There are no ground problems for Little White Lie though and he looks the one to be on.
