This is a dreadful contest that gets proceedings underway but one of the 17 runners has to win and what can only be a tentative vote goes to HARRISON'S FLYER, who is preferred to Mrs Bun and Note Perfect. The last mentioned belied odds of 40/1 when beating Jakeini at Ayr last month but an 8lb rise for that success looks harsh so Mick Easterby's filly may be best watched. Namu has been running consistently well over six furlongs of late and has to be considered being dropped back to the minimum. Top Bid ran better at Great Leighs last time but has won only once from 17 starts and of more interest may be Kevin Ryan's lightly raced Mrs Bun, who looks to be going the right way. Marginal preference though is for Milton Bradley's Harrison's Flyer, who ran his best race of the season when chasing home Kyllachy Storm at Bath last time and, with the yard's runners in their best form for some time, he looks worth chancing in a poor contest.
