A very tricky finale and Three Wrens is given the nod ahead of Secretary General and Perfect Blend. The selection is relatively lightly raced and improved for her seasonal debut effort to beat a decent field over course and distance last time. She was absolutely cruising two out but idled in the closing stages. She will no doubt improve on that effort and looks the best option here. Pefect Blend is also improving with each run and although anxious before the start, managed to win a modest maiden at Windsor last time. If she handles the preliminaries today we should see a more polished performance. Secretary General is steadily returning to form and his recent third to Coppice at Leicester makes very good reading, he could reward each-way support. Crail is from a yard in form and may do best of the rest, but there should be plenty more to come from Three Wrens and this one gets our vote.
