      Verdict

      A debut winner over 1m2f, Holocene drops down in trip for this having returned a beaten favourite in both subsequent outings and is taken on with PEARL REEF. The latter folded in the closing stages over a longer distance at Ffos Las on her handicap bow but had landed a maiden over a mile at Musselburgh before that so gets another chance. Control has been thereabouts in handicaps without looking like winning though is still preferred to Just Amber.
