    Verdict

The step up is distance may suit Stoneboat Bill, who won easily over a mile at Thirsk before staying on late into second over the same trip here nine days ago. Kip disappointed over 1m4f at Doncaster last month but may do better now handicapping, though the same can be said of HYPHAEMA. She looked a bit one-paced over shorter trips in her first season but showed definite signs of promise and a mark of 69 here looks manageable if she's fully wound-up. Sahara is another unexposed filly with decent claims in an open-looking affair.
