Verdict

Hard to be confident about any of these. So Wise is gradually slipping down the weights after another poor effort but Cono Zur looks to be back in the handicapper's grip. Glenridding remains as unpredictable as ever and Elijah Pepper is a rare winner nowadays and was returned a losing favourite at Pontefract last time. Sir George should be thereabouts again but hasn't won since 2010 so a tentative vote goes to SIR TREVOR, a recent runner-up at Beverley, who is just preferred to last month's Bath third Breaking The Bank.
