Lady Hester was second at Chelmsford when upped to this trip but the Godolphin filly is clearly nothing special. Canberra Cliffs was raised 8lb for winning over course and distance 10 days ago but George Wood again takes off 5lb. Carol showed progressive form on Turf last summer so enters calculations but this longer trip will almost certainly suit MIDNIGHT VIXEN, who was confined to 7f in her first campaign. Sir Michael Stoute’s fortunes have enjoyed an upturn in the last couple of weeks and we can expect the winners to really start flowing now.
