LA CASA TARIFA has plenty of experience and Mark Johnston clearly had no reservations about throwing in his three-year-old against older horses at Chelmsford last month. She won there and followed over this trip at Ripon so is fancied to complete the hat-trick here, despite taking on better horses. Lavetta looked in need of the run at Newmarket two weeks ago and is better than that but Lincoln Rocks starts the new campaign on a high mark after last year’s exploits. Normandie Lady could be interesting, however, and makes more appeal than Gay Kelleway’s pair.
