Verdict
Garrahalish keeps threatening to win but hasn't got his head in front since 2014 despite a consistent enough sequence of runs, whilst Mr Mountain will hopefully have learnt from his unfortunate experience on chase debut at Kempton when unseating. A dual point-to-point winner, he remains of interest. Money for him would be significant too. Dream Bolt has a chance at his best and Gold Mountain and Doitforjoe have a shout but SCORPION STAR gets the vote. A solid point-to-pointer, he performed well on his first start for Martin Hill last time in a hunter chase when a last fence blunder proved costly and the booking of Richard Johnson indicates connections mean business as he moves into open handicap company for this recovery mission.
