In depth

Verdict

A cogent case can be argued for a few but EDGAR is the choice in the hope that Tom Scudamore bounces him out early to try and run the finish out of the opposition. He stays much further than this and must ensure he brings his guaranteed stamina into play. Maizy Missile may be 14 but continues to perform with tremendous enthusiasm and has landed three of five career successes at this venue, including her latest run last month. However, the handicapper has acted harshly in upping her to her highest mark since the autumn of 2013. She should still run well for Mary Evans. Sylvan Legend has an each-way shout and Mad Money could be well treated back under Rules after a spell in the pointing arena with the champion jockey aboard.
