      Verdict

      Nordic Combined can’t get much lower in the weights but last season’s efforts left much to be desired. Birds Of Prey hasn’t won over hurdles in more than three years but has placed the last twice. Connections have had to be patient with FAROUK DE CHENEAU (NAP) but he was running home strongly behind Neon Moon at Wincanton last month and can go one better here. Mourzouk needed the help of the stewards to complete a double at Warwick and is 8lb higher but still preferred to the frustrating Guernesey.
