In depth

Verdict

DESIGN ICON (NAP) won a maiden hurdle at Market Rasen when fitted with a tongue-tie and stepped up to 2m4f. He has plenty of scope for further progress over this longer trip now handicapping and Kim Bailey’s charge can go in again. Drumlee Watar has undergone wind surgery and gets additional headgear after finishing second at Fontwell but Holly James disappointed at Ffos Las having placed at the same track before that. Lord Getaway found one too good over fences last time and reverts to the smaller obstacles looking for his first win since 2018.
