In depth

Verdict

Lady Reset had been racing over hurdles before landing a 1m2f Leicester seller and is on a lower mark than her previous victory back in 2019. Carp Kid had dropped to his lowest-ever mark when making all and battling on gamely over 1m2f at Lingfield and is only 3lb higher though his rider claimed 3lb that day. SUNS UP GUNS UP (NAP), a winner at Kempton in January, couldn't quite get to the winner at Windsor last week but remains on the same mark and can double his winning tally. Corazonada has been racing in slightly better company and has more scope than most but all-weather winner Polar Cloud was well beaten on his only start on Turf.
