AL AMAAN is given the vote to get his head in front at the expense of Gunslinger and Wilbury Star. The selection comes from the all conquering Paul Nicholls stable and showed promise on his latest start after finishing third to Blue Eyed Eloise. He has dropped a further three pounds in the weights which puts him in with a real chance of breaking his maiden tag. Gunslinger will pose as the biggest danger and has been mixing it on the Flat and jumps of late. He won a maiden on the Flat last October and has shown some promise recently over the obstacles. He looks fairly treated and should be monitored in the betting market. Wilbury Star won twice on the Flat for Richard Hannon but disappointed in three runs for trainer Nicky Henderson thereafter. He is obviously no world beater but running off a mark of 101 he could be potentially dangerous so is another to note. Al Amaan has recent form to his name and looks the percentage call.
