BOLTON HALL has never been the easiest horse in the world to win with but with the champion jockey Tony McCoy booked to ride he looks the most interesting horse in the race and is taken to score ahead of Talenti and Heir To Be. McCoy got the selection up in unusual circumstances at this venue last May so has knowledge of the horse and his quirkiness. The horse has run some fine races in defeat of late and at a track he likes he is sure to get every assistance from the saddle. Talenti comes from a yard that are having a good spell of late and he caught the eye after finishing second at Southwell last time out suggesting that another win is not too far away. He was good enough to win a maiden in March and in this selling grade he has to be respected. Top weight Heir To Be won five times last year rising nearly thirty pounds in the weights as a result. He now looks weighted to his best but now that he has been dropped in grade he again enters calculations and is another to add to the short list. Bolton Hall has his quirks but on his day he is a class above his rivals and if in the right frame of mind he will be difficult to beat.
