In depth

Verdict

Grageelagh Girl hasn’t won in more than two years and has become hard to place. Parody won twice here last summer but was a little disappointing when only fourth over course and distance earlier this month and he now has ground to make up on MIDNIGHT SAPPHIRE. Gail Haywood’s mare has clearly dropped to a fair mark and she will handle conditions better than most, though the going will also suit France De Reve who should do better now handicapping. Floral Bouquet was second at Bangor last month but is on a long losing run.
