PACIFY would have been the best of these over hurdles and, though no match for the more-experienced Longhouse Sale at Uttoxeter, didn’t do a lot wrong on his debut over fences even though he is not bred for chasing. Cotswold Way and Fox Pro have shown some ability but there may be more scope among the chasing newcomers with Paseo, Versatility, Boreham Bill and Captain Tommy hailing from powerful stables and all worth a market check.
