The usual diatribe about watching the market applies and we shall put up Qaraarat to see off Bob Casey and Aussie Deal. The selection didn't shape at all badly on introduction and as a son of In The Wings; the Shadwell castoff might find conditions to his liking. Bob Casey set off a fair old lick on debut at Worcester. He should have come on for the experience. Aussie Deal has a dour staying pedigree. The market is watched closely. Willowpattern races in the colours of Princess Anne so it would have been interesting to note whether any of her money forced her price down at Market Rasen. She will also be represented by Dhu Loch but Robert Thornton elects to be with the former. Nick Williams doesn't normally bother with bumper runners but he does have a good record when he aims horses at them so Quick Draw McGraw is of some interest. OK Katie is bred on flat lines and is a rare National Hunt runner for Ralph Beckett. Qaraarat is the call in a race that could throw up a number of future winners.
