Verdict

Catspan was second at Plumpton in April but that was a particularly weak contest and he was well beaten at Fontwell subsequently. Distant Ffos Las runner-up Michigan D'Isop sports blinkers for the first time at the age of 12 while Lidjo De Rouge has been well behind between the flags lately. CAPTAIN TIDDS isn't the force of old but his latest second at Worcester still looks the best form on offer here and he should go one better, though Red Law has been dropped a further pound since finishing third at Hereford five days ago.
