In depth

Verdict

Bach Protector looks interesting on debut with the Curtis/McCoy partnership in action again but with experience already gained in this sphere MAID OF SILK gets the call with July The Firth on the list after a run between the flags. Eleven Fifty Nine was the only finisher ahead of the pick last time and with likely improvement he looks to have a good chance although the form from that debut run is weak. Bach Protector is related to a few bumper and hurdles winners and Rebecca Curtis is more than capable for readying one first time up. July The Firth was only just held on debut between the flags and he should know his job well enough first time up under rules. Nonobu has improved in a couple for runs so should show more again to feature but in a race where the market should tell us plenty Maid Of Silk can build on a nice debut to score.
