Verdict

Capilla appears to have lost his way but Red Skipper goes well here and a recent spin on the all-weather should have blown away a few cobwebs. Edlomond was only third at Southwell on Friday but cheekpieces are added to the usual hood and tongue-tie and he could figure if they have an effect. Too Scoops has been gradually getting there and has been dropped a further 2lb but we'll take a chance on PADDY THE STOUT. He's tumbled down the weights this year and would only need to reproduce a fraction of his former ability to give these a run for their money.
