Although Mhilu looks best off at the weights here, it could be the day to side with FINANCIALREGULATOR, who is very interesting, while Perfect Reward could go well. The selection is partnered by Tony McCoy for Gordon Elliott, who has a 36 per cent strike rate in hurdles here and is also in cracking form at present. The gelding's recent form leaves plenty to be desired, but that has not stopped his trainer having winners before and money for him would surely be significant. Mhilu goes well here and also on the ground. All four of his wins have come between July and October, and perhaps he might not just be forward enough after a break. Casual Garcia would have a clear chance on his best form, but he has a bit to prove now and Perfect Reward hails from an in-form stable, but his solid claims at the weights are significantly reduced by this faster ground. Financialregulator is the one for us.
