Lambrini Bianco can defy topweight, with Waynesworld, Cociembe and Rash Moment worth a mention at least. Lambrini Bianco has crept to the top of the handicap on the back of some decent efforts this term, including when successful over the course-and-distance three weeks ago. He battled his way to victory again that day, and has looked a different animal since being fitted with blinkers, so despite another rise in the weights, he is taken to follow up under Tom Messenger who takes over from Tom Scudamore. The latter has been claimed by the Pipe yard to partner Cociembe who never looked like justifying market support on his British debut at Worcester recently. The ex-Irish performer was campaigned with cut in the ground in the main for previous connections and has plenty of weight here for a maiden. A bigger danger may well be Waynesworld who could do no more than beat a poor bunch here easily last time. He has more to do now but at least lines up with a win under his belt. Rash Moment was lucky to collect at Stratford when the leader New Time came down at the last, and may struggle anyway as he goes back up the handicap, so all in all it is Lambrini Bianco that makes most appeal.
