Verdict

He's been called a few names in the past but full credit to No No Cardinal as he arrives in search of the hat-trick. A dual winner at this track, he's a stone higher for those two wins but Mark Gillard has done a great job with him and he should be involved once again. Alexander The Grey has a decent level of ability but does frustrate with his inconsistency and Dark Invader's modest recent runs means he now inhabits a career-low mark. Polo The Mumm is interesting after a short break but in a race of ifs and buts a chance is taken on GOLANDER, now with Jimmy Frost and off bottomweight after showing some ability in the pointing arena. This may just be the time to catch him with daughter Bryony in the plate.
