Red Man Ray may prove to be the safest option in a tricky contest; Vibe should finish in the money again whilst support for Krasivi's Boy would bring him into the equation. Tom George's gelding had been off the track for some time prior to his run at Market Rasen at the start of July but didn't improve significantly on that effort at Bangor last time. He's run well enough on both occasions though and could be ideally suited by dropping back a quarter of a mile in trip this afternoon. Vibe has been frustrating to follow as he has run a string of consistent races without getting his head in front. Everything may fall into place one of these days but he seems to manage to find ways to get beaten and he remains opposable. Past Heritage is not without hope but Harry May can only be watched following his refusal last time. Krasivi's Boy is having his second run for new connections here and is making his chase debut; he is still a maiden but will benefit from having the blinkers reapplied and could conceivably get involved. Not an easy race to call but Red Man Ray should be thereabouts.
