Rightful Ruler can make a winning return to flat racing here, at the expense of Dimashq and Kyber. The selection'¿s been hurdling with some success for much of the last year, and has won some decent looking contests too. This is a step down, and it's a race that won't take much winning. Paul Midgeley'¿s got a decent record here, and last time out Dimashq won well here in an amateur riders event, with Kyber and Always Best well behind. Jamie Moriarty gets the ride this time, but while many rivals can claim weight allowance she's still well treated. Kyber won a similar event earlier in the year, and has plenty of previous wins here too; carrying 6 pounds more than Dimashq could prove decisive if there's been more rain to make it softer. Rightful Ruler will be happy with the going on the soft side, and is taken to land the opener.
