In depth

Verdict

Royal Plaza has found some form but both of This Breac’s wins under Rules have come on heavy ground at Leicester. Special Buddy is 0-9 but has placed the last twice, though over longer trips. SHORTCROSS STORM (NAP) would probably have beaten an in-form rival at Huntingdon 11 days ago had he not veered off a straight course in the closing stages. As that was his fencing bow, he is open to plenty of improvement and will be higher in the weights from next week regardless of how he fares today. Elios D'Or is improving with experience and can’t be ignored.
