Verdict

Skipper's Lad is better known as a chaser but potentially well treated over the smaller obstacles. Martin Keighley saddles a couple of likely sorts in Snake Charmer, successful off a higher mark at Warwick in February, and Monty's Revenge, who has won two of his last three starts and is still at the right end of the handicap. Free World is 7lb lower than when scoring very easily over fences at Stratford last month and would have every chance if staying this longer distance, while The Wee Midget and Tiger Line could also make their presence felt. Cartmel winner ENGLISHTOWN appears to have rediscovered his enthusiasm, however, and is still very well handicapped on past form. AP McCoy can coax the 11-year-old to another victory here.
