Verdict

Not many arrive in the best of heart and therefore HUNTING PERCIVAL is taken to go one better after his much-improved effort last time when beaten by a major improver. Harry Cobden replaces a 7lb amateur on board and he's just preferred to Buxted Too. The latter isn't easy to get a handle on as he's an impressive 7-18 on the all-weather but 0-11 on the Flat on grass. He's yet to make the frame over timber but it's interesting to see connections persevering with him and the last two runs have been better. He's one to note stepping into handicaps. Energy Two is very lightly-raced with just a couple of hurdling runs to her name but has shaped well enough on both starts in maiden hurdles and has a workable mark on handicap bow. Turpin Gold has place claims.
