A seller in all but name and Syroco is the percentage play ahead of Wild Power and Jupon Vert. Syroco does have to reverse form with Wild Power based on their most recent meeting but he can be excused that run as that came after a sizeable absence from the track. The ex-Arthur Moore charge should have come on for that effort and with Paul Moloney sporting a 25% strike rate on chasers for the Sheppard stable this term, there are plenty of positives to be gleaned. Wild Power has made headlines in the past for the wrong reasons and while he is to be commended for his recent Warwick effort, consistency is never his strong point. Jupon Vert is perfectly exposed and wins in his turn. The handicapper might need to drop him again before his turn comes around. Ishka Baha is a proven front-runner and the recent Uttoxeter scorer is sure to be making her presence felt early. Guymur is sent over chase fences after a couple of flops over the smaller obstacles. Old Marsh had form for Tony Carroll a couple of seasons ago and is watched for the present. Syroco has questions to answer but showed enough last time out to suggest that a win isn't too far in the offing.
