Verdict

Two in-form sorts looks to extend winning runs. Kentford Heiress is up 7lb for her last two wins and always shows a willing attitude to her work. Recent victories have come over shorter trips but she's capable at this distance and houses solid credentials in search of the hat-trick. Mr Mafia attempts to go one better and make it four on the bounce but has yet to confirm his stamina at this trip and is now 22lb higher than when his winning run began. He also steps up markedly in grade. Bodega, not helped by the elimination of hurdles due to low sun latest, is respected but PETROU appeals despite conceding weight all round. Back over hurdles - probably as he's rated 5lb lower than over fences - he's been running well over the bigger obstacles, finishing strongly over 3m1f latest when runner-up in a decent Aintree chase.
