Robber can complete a good day for Tony McCoy, with Tell Tale, Lord 'n' Master and Petolinski out to stop him. Although Robber won in very soft ground at Chepstow in February, he has been in form on better going since, gaining back-to-back successes at Plumpton and Fontwell, making it three wins in six starts since joining Peter Bowen from Philip Hobbs. Seamus Durack has been his regular partner, but Tony McCoy has a very good strike-rate for the selection's stable, and as the eight-year-old still looks fairly treated, her is the one to beat, especially as he will have no problem with the longer journey here. Tell Tale is now 13-years-old and this former course and distance scorer was a beaten favourite in hunter-chase company at Folkestone recently. Lord 'n' Master has not won for a couple of years but showed his first worthwhile form for some time when chasing home Gumley Gale here last time. Petolinski plugged on gamely when second at Towcester 10 days ago, and he has place claims at least, but Robber makes most appeal with everything going for him.
