In depth

Verdict

Mr Mafia is hard to catch right nowadays but was second here back in September when 9lb higher in the weights and his stable is in cracking form. BALLYEGAN HERO beat three rivals, including Easyrun De Vassy, over track and trip 11 days ago with the proverbial ton in hand - he’s thriving at present and can defy his penalty. Findusatgorcombe was last of five in this race when it was last run in 2019 but Plantagenet can’t get much lower in the weights and is tried in blinkers. Danboru is worth a market check but Friends Don't Ask has the more recent placed form.
