A difficult race to call as there is very little between any of them on the book and Kunda is only a tentative selection to get the better of Russian Ruby, Crafty Fancy and Dowager, who are all respected in their claims. However, Kunda, who was far from disgraced in finishing fifth in a Listed race at Newbury last week, has done very little wrong since her introduction to racing on good to firm ground in mid-July. The daughter of Intikhab has performed with credit on a variety of going since then and is beginning to show just why she is held in such high regard by the Richard Hannon team. The form shown by the stable's runners does have to be of slight concern as they have sent out some 35 contenders since their last win. However, working on the premise that it is the horses that count, Kunda is worth giving another chance to here and this speedy individual can bring to a halt to a dry spell for the Hannon team today. Dowager has a little to find on recent form so the hat-trick seeking Russian Ruby could be the one to give Kunda the most to do.
