The ground and lack of previous experience make this an absolute minefield for punters and the selection of Linnet is forwarded on the proviso that the Amanda Perrett-trained filly is a popular choice in the betting. Lysander and Snow Lynx are other obvious ones to note, while Ladeena hails from a yard that have bounced back to form and a positive move to back up her claims should not be dismissed lightly. Snow Lynx - a half-sister to the ill-fated Snow Ridge - is an expensive purchase that can be expected to be winning races before too long. However, a number of Godolphin's runners with a similar profile have been hitting the post lately and she could be another to look at with an eye to the future. Lysander faces very different ground to that of her debut but that experience could still prove to be a valuable tool to use as things unfold. Sir Michael Stoute struck with a similar type at Lingfield on Thursday and the market will give us a good indication as to whether the Newmarket handler is expected to follow up here. Nevertheless Linnet is more than likely to be available at much more attractive odds and, as she has a fair amount of stamina in her pedigree, she is fancied to provide us with a good run for the money if Perrett has her ready to go today.
